Good stuff. The 5' tall roll was easy to manage. This housewrap doesn't tear like others I've used in the past. Will buy again when I reside the rest of the house.

Hydrogap housewrap
5/5
This product has been popping up more and more on commercial properties. Engineers are requesting this and the guys in the field love it. Super easy to install, and works great.

Exceptionally Easy Product To Work With
5/5
I have just finished wrapping an outdoor storage shed that will see extremes of heat , cold, rain, snow, and ice. Ultimately cedar clapboards and trim will be applied. Very easy to understand instructions from the website and easy to cut and install made the product very desirable for a homeowner such as myself. Glad that it can be oriented either horizontally or vertically for the same effect. The FineHomebuilding article about building wraps and the reasonable price from the manufacturer's website sold me on this product.

Great wrap!
5/5
I feel like I'm providing my customers an upgraded product by using Hydrogap over other types of housewraps. It is more durable, can get wet without crinkling, 5' rolls make for good coverage, their tape sticks well to it. Definitely going to keep using it.

Robust
5/5
I like that the material is more robust than the typical "white" wrap and the 1 mm gap relieves any water tension that might otherwise allow water penetration into the building. The 5' roll allows me to install by myself.

A Must Have...
5/5
Very pleased with HydroGap; easy to install; not as flimsy as other house wraps on the market; used under vertical tongue and groove cedar siding

Great product at this price point.

Easy to install, seems to work well so far. Nice product at a price point lower than the HomeSlicker Plus Typar.

The obdyke hydro gap has impressed all the subs who have come to our job with its unique draining configuration and its extra tactile feel and strength.

Form and Function
5/5
High quality of manufacture, Five foot width is nice to work with, not bulky so does not interfere with trimming. I used this under fiber cement 4x8 siding. Very professional product.
As other's, tapes don't stick well. Perhaps not a big deal and staples may tear out a bit easy but overall I'm glad I discovered and used this material.
Also, the staff are VERY helpful and knowledgeable.

Great Product. It should be Code Required.
4/5
I purchased the HydroGap product after reviewing the independent product testing. It far outperformed the comparable competition. The only critique I have for the product is that it tears too easily. This is the first time I have used the product, and I am having to go over the house with Hydroflash tape, which is amazing, to patch multiple tears in the HydroGap.

Helping Wood Siding Stay Dry
4/5
I am renovating an old house with a plethora of construction problems, it included replacing wood siding with wood siding, because my wife liked the old look. How to achieve that and not get the rot that accompanies this because water, moisture, etc gets behind the siding, especially in the high humid south. A lot of products on the market, some quite expensive and some quite cumbersome, but HydroGap was neither of these and perfect for my application. While a 1mm space is small, it is far better than 0 mm space. This is my third role of HydroGap (yes I am a slow worker) and have been very pleased with the product and the company

second batch
5/5
This is the second time I have used this product under redwood siding. It seems to prevent cupping that otherwise occurs.

Great product but tapes don't stick to it
4/5
Title says it all. Great to work with. Durable in extreme conditions but because of the canvas like texture and beads, most tapes won't stick. So put up siding immediately

AMAZING PRODUCT
5/5
I am so excited about finding this house wrap! I told my contractor I found something new and I wanted to try it on one of my rentals...Of course being a woman telling a man was not easy for him. When the product arrived he appeared to be impressed. After the first wall was wrapped, he tried his own water test and then he did it again and again. His comment was "maybe it will work". As the neighbors are stopping by to look at the wall, they too are impressed. Now he acts like it was his idea. Guess he doesn't want to give out his secret!
